New Outlaw Late Model Series To Take Shape at Berlin

Berlin Raceway and Port City Racecars are pleased to announce the formation of the Port City Racecars Outlaw Late Model Series for the 2012 season at Berlin Raceway. The startup series, formed by Port City Racecars will compete in Marne, Michigan eight times over the course of the tracks 62nd season of competition.

The group of outlaw cars will be named the 'Port City Racecars Outlaw Late Models' featuring a rule book similar to the East Side tracks such as Dixie or Flat Rock. A major idea of this rule book will be to bring in outlaw cars who have ran at Berlin in the past and relocated, or simply just bring out some new faces and cars to the 7/16 mile in Marne, Michigan. The Port City Racecars Outlaw Late Models will race for the first time in May, and will feature eight races, each a $2,500-to-win / $500 to start event.
