At age thirty-three, Piconning, Michigans Jeep Van Wormer only seeks to be one thing in life; to be the best at what he does.His younger years showed that he was born with the need for competitive speed.
Noticing this, Jeep's mother and father gave him the opportunity to take advantage of his competitiveness. Jeep started out on two wheels with a motorcycle his parents bought for him to ride in the back yard racing the neighbors, which later switched gears into a successful career of racing motor cross for five years.
At age twenty-one, Jeep stepped off the bike and pursued a college education.His first year of college led to be an exciting one. Not only had he become a successful college student, but this was also his first year of racing cars.Being in Jeep's nature to always succeed, in just four years Jeep was able to collect two track championships in a street stock and eleven feature wins in an open wheel modified.
At the same time, he received a four-year bachelor's degree in marketing and business administration.Jeep has now taken his career a step further, with his education in mind and his competitiveness at heart....a full-scale race team was born.
These days, Jeep can be found all over this great land piloting his #55 Dirt Late Model.He is a frequent competitor in Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events, UMP Summernationals shows, and all the major races across the country.Looking to the future, there is no stopping this successful racer from succeeding at whatever he does.
