Berlin Raceway Events Canceled

Marne, MI -- Berlin Raceway officials have announced that all weekend events scheduled for April 19-20 have been canceled due to the rainfall that has resulted in the flooding and saturation of the parking areas and infield along in combination with freezing temperatures forecasted at race time on Saturday. Friday, April 19 was scheduled for an open practice and Saturday, April 20 was going to be the second attempt at the season opener.

In hopes that the third time is the charm, Berlin will try again to hold the season opener on Saturday, April 27. The show will run as scheduled with the addition of Engine Pro Super Stocks, making it an action-packed night. The Budweiser Super Late Models, Model Coverall Modifieds, Enterprise Iron & Metal Sportsman and Burnips Equipment 4-Cylinders were already scheduled to run. Pit gates will open at 12:30 p.m., spectator gates will open at 3:00 p.m. and the first race will begin at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for students 12-17, $5 for kids 8-11 and children 7 and under get in for free. 

The Port City Racecars Outlaw Late Model race will be rescheduled, however that date has not yet been determined. It has not been decided at this time whether or not the other divisions' races will be rescheduled.
