(Photo Courtesy of Speed51.com)Coopersville's Johhny VanDoorn #61 and Grand Rapid's Brian Campbell #20 brought their championship teams to Lanier Speedwway to compete against some of the best short track drivers in the country. Campbell's starting spot of 6th was quickly desimated when he spun on lap three to bring out the first yellow of the event. VanDoorn on the other hand hung out in the top 20 for much of the 250 lap event staying on the lead lap.That all changed in the last fifty laps. While Campbell was fighing his way back through he field, VanDoorn was visiting pit road on green flag racing laps.
When all was said and done it was "Rowdy" Kyle Busch winning the event over Steven Wallace, Jeff Fultz, Bubba Pollard, and Drew Brannon.
Campbell finished 19th while Vandoorn was 23rd.
