To all the individual donors that helped us out with raffle tickets sales, buying the decals, and auction items, I do not know what to say, but you are special people, for stepping up in this bad economy. With the help of all we were able to purchase a handicap equipped van to aid the Chichester family and other families stricken with ALS plus make a sizable donation to aid in research to find a cure for ALS.
When we think we have it bad, there are stories out there that make us appreciate how good we have it. We realized this weekend that Ryan and Kyle Hamm need our thoughts and prayers. Their mother is in a battle with this terrible disease alongside the Chichesters. Another family we need to remember is the Tenbrinks. Most of us found out this weekend that Sandy will have to battle Cancer.
Please remember that if you have an avenue to help someone please do so because every little bit matters against the fight of these horrible diseases. Anytime an effort is put forth it does make a difference.
Sincerely,
Rick Huisken
