Daggett Wins at Crystal in SOD Action

CRYSTAL, Mich. (July 18, 2009) - Dustin Daggett continued his remarkable season by winning Saturday’s Engine Pro ASCS Sprints on Dirt presented by ARP feature event at Crystal Motor Speedway. The win was Daggett’s eighth in 2009 and fourth in a row at Crystal diving the Mott Motorsports Gaerte powered Maxim chassis.

Steve Irwin and Davey Brown started on the front row of the 25-lap feature event. Brown led the first lap, but Daggett took command shortly before Brown spun and was collected by Mike Daggett. Brown tipped over to bring out the red flag, but was able to continue. Mike Daggett had to retire from the event.

From there it was all Dustin Daggett out front dominating the 25-lap affair. Bret Mann moved up from sixth to take second. Ryan Grubaugh, Gregg Dalman, and Steve Irwin rounded out the top five.
