Frye would survive several cautions and a late charge from 2011 UMP DIRTcar Racing Series Northeastern States Champion Dan Dykman to give the Coopersville, Michigan driver his second Feature Win of the season in his #44 Rhino Roofing & Construction / Chevrolet. Dykman finished second with Brandt Jr., 2009 Track Champion Aaron Wolf, and Jim Beltz rounded out the top five. David Grega finished sixth as Bill Brandt Sr., Max Ake, Randy Wellman, and Curtis Harrington completed the Top 10. Frye and Brandt Jr., picked up the Heat Race wins.
To end out the night it was the premier division within the United Midwestern Promoters (UMP) DIRTcar Racing Series, the Miller Light UMP Super Light Models entering the speedway for their 30-Lap A-Main. After the command to fire engines it was Rich Neiser and Former Two-Time Track Champion Eric Spangler on the front row. Neiser would hold the top spot despite a tough challenge from Brandon Thirlby early on in the event.
On Lap 19, Thirlby would grab the lead and from there, the Traverse City, Michigan driver would never look back as his #m14 Thirlby Automotive / Mastersbilt Racecars entry would go on to win the Big Daddy for his second Feature of the season at I-96 as well as his second Feature of the weekend as he won the night before at his home track of Cherry Raceway in Fife Lake, Michigan.
