Overwhelming Car Counts Leads to 2nd CRA Feature at Berlin Saturday Night
-Rowdy 251 Guaranteed Starting Spots also on the Line-
Berlin Raceway and CRA officials announced exciting additions to Saturday Night's racing at Berlin for the ARCA/CRA Super Series teams. Due to the incredible expected car count of 40+ cars, officials announced there will be a second feature. If, following the two last chance races there are at least 10 cars not making the main feature, there will be a second feature with a purse of a minimum of $600 to win and $200 to start, winner's trophy and recognition, and a guaranteed start for the June's Rowdy 251.
Berlin Raceway co-manager Mike Bursley commented, "We are thrilled with the turnout and quality of cars expected for our event this weekend, and want to reward everyone as best as possible. Having a second feature will allow everyone to race and earn some additional money that they wouldn't have otherwise had. These great car counts are important to racing and we want to show everyone we appreciate it."
Officials have already determined they will expand the starting field of the main feature, by, at a minimum, taking the top two out of each last chance instead of just the winners. First place in each will be a full pay starter and second will be an additional starter.
Berlin officials also announced that there will be even more riding on the line Saturday night, as the top two finishers in the main feature will be guaranteed additional starters for the Rowdy 251 in June, in addition to the winner of the second feature.
