It has been checkers or wreckers so far for Tom Thomas. Thomas crashed hard in the April 23 Intimidator 100 at Kalamazoo Speedway. However, he bounced back strong to win this past Saturday's 50 lapper at Kalamazoo.
Five more drivers to salute this week. Keep those suggestions coming to stevekracer@aol.com.
Ray Clay, Zeeland

Dustin Daggett, Portland
Daggett won Saturday night’s season-opening SOD Sprints on Dirt feature race at Crystal Motor Speedway. Daggett started ninth in the 25-lap main and took over the lead on lap 18.
Tommy Fedewa, Leslie
Fedewa grabbed the lead on the final lap of this past Friday night’s Sprint Car feature race at Spartan Speedway in Lansing. Fedewa was third heading into turn three before overtaking second place Taylor Ferns and leader Chris Hettinger.
