NASCAR Nationwide Series' Kenny Wallace will return to I-96 Speedway

Kenny Wallace NASCAR Nationwide Series veteran Kenny Wallace put on a thrilling performance at I-96 Speedway last August. He was involved in an early race accident and sent to the rear of the field, but he rallied to win the 20-lap Modified feature race.
Track officials announced this week that the St. Louis native will be back for an encore this summer. Look for Wallace to compete in the June 29 UMP Late Models DIRTcar Summer Nationals.
The Lake Odessa speedway has a new three-eighth-mile oval this season, with its half-mile to be used only for special events, including the Summer Nationals tour.
It will be the series' first trip to I-96 since 2006, and it's expected to attract drivers fromacross the nation.

The track's season opener is April 24. The four-in-one program will include UMP Late Models, UMP Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks and a 4-Cylinder Spectacular that will pay $300 to win and $50 to start.
