West Michigan Race Car Show : Recap

WEST MICHIGAN RACECAR SHOW

On Wednesday, March 10, 2010, we all met at Rogers Plaza Town Center in Wyoming Michigan for a racecar show. Little did we know at the end of it on March 13, 2010 how big of an event it would turn out to be! The Inaugural West Michigan Racecar Show opened many eyes, including all of ours! The large turnout of participants, with such a wide variety of vehicles, made for a show where visitors had the opportunity to come to the mall and see them all in one place. Yes, there were some suggestions on what other cars we could have and we know we can work on those suggestions for next time. Yes, next time! Look for March of 2011! We all got the West Michigan racing community (and more) together and the show looks to have been the kickoff for everyone for the anticipation for an exciting and successful 2010 racing season.

So, after all is said and done, we, the show committee, would like to thank everyone that was involved with the West Michigan Racecar Show for helping to make it such an overwhelming success that it was. Thank you to the volunteers, the participants, the media, the entertainment and the audio, the Rogers Plaza Town Center and all of its employees and mostly to all of those who came out to see and support the show and the March of Dimes.
