Season Championships at I-96: September 19th

September 19th, is our Championship night for all classes and racing should be great.

We all know someone or have personally experienced the pain, suffering and challenges of beating cancer. This year I-96 Speedway is proud to be hosting our First Annual American Cancer Society " Race for Life " event.

In order to make this a successful event we need help from the community. Please bring a family member or a friend to this weekend race to support those whose Race for Life is far greater.

Travis Stemler (modified car #2) and his sponsors are getting his car wrapped in Pink to support breast cancer awareness. Travis and the track are selling stickers for his car and others - The stickers have room on them to put your name or someone special and will be applied to the cars before race time. A $10 donation is asked for each sticker; but what you feel comfortable with is ok.

Late model 2 seater rides will be available after the races with the proceeds going to ACS.

Fans will also have a chance to race Mike Mouch and a few drivers this night in go karts on 1/8 mile track in front of the grand stands - proceeds going to ACS.

Don’t forget to wear your awareness ribbons; Lavender is the color for general cancer awareness. For additional ribbon colors and their meanings http://www.disabled-world.com/disability/awareness/ribbons.php

If you would to help or get involve with us please send me a note:
