Berlin Raceway This Weekend

It's Engine Pro Super Stock Night at Berlin Raceway this Saturday night, May 30. The Super Stocks will have an extended feature race, going 50 laps instead of 30, and joining them will be the cars of the Coors Light Late Model and Kerkstra Services Pro Stock divisions. There will be an on-track autograph session before the races begin with the Super Stock Drivers and the School Buses will be back in action!

Ken Smith, Jr. will look to get his third feature win of the season in the Pro Stock division and to cut into Brian Tillema's 31 point lead. New point leader, Chris Muyskens of the Super Stock division will try to increase his 8-point lead over Ray VanAllsburg and lurking in third is defending Champion Brian Wiersma just 19 points behind. After outlasting the competetion for 75 laps, Ross Meeuwsen has cut in to Tim DeVos' point lead after winning last weekend; also showing strength is Terry VanHaitmsa who will be going for his eighth fast time in a row this weekend.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for kids 6-12; 5 and under are free. Pit passes for those 14 and over are $25 and races start at 7 p.m. Gates open at noon for the pits and 1:00 p.m. for the grandstand.

Next Saturday, June 6 is Kerkstra Services Pro Stock Night. The Pro Stocks will be racing for 40 laps and will be joined by the Coors Light Late Models, Burnips Equipment 4-Cylinders and Young Guns; drivers from the Pro Stock and Young Gun divisions will also have a pre-race, on-track autograph session.
